Company

16 years of hydrogen engineering. Accelerated by artificial intelligence.

H₂-Enterprises Group Inc. is an AI-driven computational engineering company developing software-defined hydrogen, LOHC, energy, mobility and autonomous systems.

Company

The company combines 16 years of hydrogen and energy engineering and today with AI-driven computational engineering.

The business is built around reusable computational IP and multiple product families rather than single site-specific projects.

0116 years · Why now

The foundation is 16 years old.
The speed is new.

Maritime was the starting point: battery technology could not practically enable an electrically powered yacht to cross the Atlantic. The search for a liquid, safe and practical way to store hydrogen led to LOHC (Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier) — and to everything that followed.

    Maritime origin & LOHC

    1. 2010

      Maritime origin

How could a long-range yacht cross the Atlantic electrically when batteries alone could not provide the energy density and range? The search for a liquid hydrogen-storage alternative leads to LOHC.

    2. 2010

Research & development begins · H₂-Industries AG founded in 2011

In 2010, Michael Stusch began the intensive research and development of innovative hydrogen and energy solutions. Following this initial development phase, he founded H₂-Industries AG in Switzerland in 2011.

    3. 2013

      H₂-Maritime founded

H₂-Maritime GmbH founded in Germany, continuing the maritime origin of the technology and developing marine energy-system concepts.

  2. 2016 – 2019

    Prototype & broadening

    1. 2016

      First dehydrogenation prototype

Development and operation of the first dehydrogenation prototype — releasing hydrogen from the liquid carrier. A central proof point in the company’s technical history.

    2. 2016

      Expansion to Germany

Development expands to Germany; the engineering focus broadens from maritime applications toward scalable hydrogen and energy systems.

    3. 2019

      Waste-to-Hydrogen development begins

H₂-Enterprises developed Waste-to-Hydrogen technologies, concepts and project opportunities. No commercial Waste-to-Hydrogen plant has yet been constructed because the required project financing was not secured.

  3. 2020 – 2024

    Scaling the vision

    1. 2020–24

      Scaling the vision

Development expands across LOHC storage and release, power generation, waste conversion, maritime, mobility, buildings and industrial applications, with international project opportunities and strategic collaborations.

    2. 2023

      H₂-Enterprises Group

H₂-Enterprises Group Inc. becomes the group platform for the next development phase.

Why now

  • The foundation

    Sixteen years of hydrogen engineering

LOHC storage and release, energy conversion, thermal integration and a prototype history since 2016. H₂-Enterprises is not starting from zero.

  • The inflection

    Engineering becomes software

Physics-based models, AI agents, digital twins and automated simulation now make it practical to encode engineering logic into reusable computational models.

  • The consequence

    One backbone, multiple product families

Knowledge that once lived in individual projects becomes a platform that every new product family reuses — and extends.

Dipl.-Ing. Michael Stusch

Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

35+ years technology entrepreneur. Built and scaled high-tech infrastructure companies. Internet & hydrogen pioneer. Founded and exited ADTECH AG — global ad-serving infrastructure leader incorporating early AI-based optimization systems — sold to AOL/Time Warner (2007).

03Strategic validation

A documented engineering record — reported exactly as it is.

The foundation predates the current AI narrative by more than a decade. Historical work is shown with its real status: development is never presented as an installation.
